The first product that brought Ringana into the mainstream was its defining toothpaste oil; its pure ingredients leading to a cult following for those looking for no nasties. The brand’s eye for detail and scrupulous ethics continued with vegan skin care products such as body milk, shower wash, soaps, sunscreens and serums, all of which contain no chemical preservatives, additives, microplastic or mineral oils.

With a successful research and development arm to the business, Ringana continue to champion fresh and active ingredients, and the active plant substances make their products unique and high quality. Big on sustainability, Ringana’s bottles and vials are all made from glass with a generous scheme to give customers a free product when they return their empties. Ringana’s cosmetics also grace some of the best spas in Europe, including Arx Vivendi in Lake Garda.

Back in 1996, Austrian founders of Ringana, Andreas Wilfinger and Ulla Wannemacher were shocked to discover a list of questionable ingredients in their son’s toothpaste. This led to a quest for transparency in all the products they used, and a business idea for Rangana was created. Starting as as a small laboratory using raw ingredients to produce skincare, to today – a multinational business with a range of products from sport supplements, protein powders, nutritional vitamins, natural energy drinks, sunscreen to anti-ageing oils.

The duo have stayed true to their original principles, using only the highest quality ingredients, working hard to keep the plant substances as fresh and therefore effective as possible. The business has branched out as they realised the power of their fresh ingredients and how that could be transferred into other areas of our lives including weight loss via vegan meal replacements and peak performance enhancers for endurance sports.
