Rubbing shoulders with neighbours Switzerland and Austria, Val Venosta (Vinschgau) is a bountiful region in the western tip of South Tyrol (Alto Adige) famed for apples, ski, glaciers, snow kitting, natural beauty, sunken villages and is arguably a serious foodie capital.
