Rooms

The design concept for the bedrooms was simply ‘feel good’ and this is clear from the all-natural approach, using lots of wood to create a cocooning effect. The hotel’s priority is to give everyone access and benefit from the surrounding nature, hence every single room has a private balcony with a fabulous vista onto the mountains making it easy to drink up the panorama, fresh air and sounds of the natural world.

Interior décor is minimalist and pared-back with a subtle colour scheme and a focus on comfort. Large beds are swathed in charcoal grey throws and mid-century seating allows a place to relax. Ground floor rooms have private access on to a terrace which leads to the garden and extra space can be found in the Living Suites, with deep sofas to relax in with a good book after a day of activity. For a treat, book a Spa Suite Plus, which comes with a private sauna and a vast free-standing tub, perfect for those steamy herbal baths where you can glimpse the mist-swirled Dolomites as you soak.

The Epicureans of South Tyrol

Food is high on this region's agenda, also known as the Garden of the Alps - the cuisine is a menagerie of hearty Laden Alpine dishes, Italian classics and lightness from the Mediterranean. It is not Italian nor Austrian; it is an epicurean marriage that occasionally dips into Hungary.
