Brand Intro

For those that like to stand out on the slopes or look sharp on an altitudinous biking expedition, Alpine brand Maloja is your go-to. An activewear clothing company with an infinity to the mountains, Maloja’s commitment to nature runs deep.

Products

Begone the tight, shiny apparel you may associate with cycling gear. Instead, Maloja creates original designs using sustainable materials including hemp, organic cotton and merino.

Appealing to those who prefer to take their own route, Maloja’s activewear takes inspiration from nature with pine-tree prints, faded checks as well as colour blocking reminiscent of 70s ski wear.

Maloja’s streetwear is a hybrid of traditional Alpine styles kitted out with a modern fit which is ideal for urbanites as well as fresh-from-the-mountains guys n’ gals.

Street accessories such as knitted beanies, snapback caps and alpaca wool scarfs would not be amiss on modern-day Alpinists to the cool kids of East London.

Story

In 2004, after a legendary day boarding epic powder in a tiny village called Maloja near St Moritz, the term ‘Maloja’ became the byword for everything that was outstanding, pure and heartfelt. Founders Peter Raeuber and Klaus Haas then applied ‘Maloja’ to a new project which would change the face of cycling fashion.

Created on a rural farmstead in Bavaria, the brand captured the culture and soul of the emerging free-riding sport with a collection of functional yet fashionable clothing. Determined to ‘follow their own way’ they brought together local designers, Alpine athletes and creative developers in their quest to combine function and style – the holy grail of many an activewear company. Using simplicity, curiosity, and a deep respect for nature, Maloja is now known for its innovative and highly original skiwear and cycling kit.

Stand Out

Creating thematic ideas for each season with inspiration from the mountains means that bang-on-trend Maloja is one of the most original brands around. Its sought-after ski wear and unique cycling apparel has one-of-a-kind Alpine style.
